Create Your Own Version of ‘American Gods’ With New Coloring Book

Many of us are counting down the days until Starz’s adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s American Gods graces our televisions and brings the fantasy novel to life. For now, instead of twiddling your thumbs to pass the time, you can color pictures based on the novel and win prizes!

According to Entertainment Weekly, fans will be able to create their own vision of Gaiman’s novel with the official American Gods coloring book! The coloring book will arrive in stores on April 25th, but you can pre-order it here to have it the day it comes out.

“April 25th!? That’s so far away!” We know, and the publishers at William Morrow Books know too, which is why they released three of the pages for fans to print out and color. The best part is, if you post your colorful creation on Instagram with the caption #americangodscoloringbook, three lucky people will be chosen to win a prize pack! It includes the coloring book, a new edition of American Gods, a copy of its sister novel Anansi Boys, and an exclusive Gaiman tote bag!

The contest ends May 3rd at 11:59 p.m. EST, and is restricted to participants in the United States. Winners will be chosen by comic book artist P. Craig Russell, who has collaborated with Gaiman in the past. You can download the pages here to get started. Happy coloring!
