Chadwick Boseman Will Not be Replaced as Black Panther

In honor of the late great actor, Chadwick Boseman, who portrayed the title character of Black Panther in 2018, the role will not be recast. Many speculations regarding the role have been rumored, but now those rumors can be put to rest. One of the rumors was there would be a CGI verison of Boseman, but that is far from the truth. According to Victoria Alonso, another member of Marvel Studios, there will never be another Black Panther actor and it is unfortunate that he has died in real life. She also goes on to say how they will honor him in history and continue to honor him. However, Boseman does have an upcoming film dropping on Netflix called Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom. Boseman is already getting Oscar buzz for his role in the film. Although it is unfortunate that he will not be here to receive the award if he wins, Chadwick will continue to live on in our hearts as Black Panther and as the amazing actor he was.
You can stream the first Black Panther right here on Disney Plus.
