Marvel Studios released a new 90-second trailer for the upcoming film Captain Marvel, the twenty-first film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and it’s set to be released on March 8th!
The film stars Brie Larson as Carol Danvers, a former pilot who is imbued with special superhuman powers and must use them to save the world after two alien races, the Kree and the Skrull, decide to wage war on planet Earth.
The film, set in 1995 before the first Iron Man movie, brings back several actors from previous MCU titles. This includes Guardians of the Galaxy actors Lee Pace and Djimon Hounsou as well as Marvel staples Samuel L. Jackson and Clark Gregg, with the latter two being digitally de-aged for a more younger, 90s look. New actors to the long-running series include Jude Law, Annette Bening, and Ben Mendelsohn.
