Elizabeth Jean “Busy” Philipps, most well-known for her appearances in Made of Honor (2008), He’s Just Not That Into You (2009), The Smokers (2001) and White Chicks (2004), announced today that she will be writing a book consisting of essays to be released in 2018.
In a video post on Instagram, she informed her fans of this incoming release:
PART OF THE PRESS RELEASE!!! Omg! NEW YORK, August 9—Touchstone will publish a collection of humorous, autobiographical essays by actress Busy Philipps. The yet-to-be-titled book will be published in fall 2018. An audio edition will be released simultaneously by Simon & Schuster Audio. Busy Philipps’s autobiographical book will offer the same unfiltered and candid storytelling that her Instagram followers have come to know and love, dealing with everything, from growing up in Scottsdale, Arizona and her painful and painfully funny teen years, to her life as a working actress, mother, and famous best friend.
Although this book doesn’t have a title yet, she assured us that “it’s a good title!”
She also thank her fans for their support in the same video post.
“It wouldn’t have been possible without you,” Philipps said. “I’ve been waiting my whole life to write this book, guys, I’m just so grateful somebody finally asked.”
In the meantime, stay in tuned for her recent role in HBO’s Vice Principals, due to air on September 17, 2017.
