Great news on the horizon for fans of “Friends:” a book about the hit show is on the way. Kelsey Miller, Refinery29 writer and author of “Big Girl: How I Gave Up Dieting And Got A Life,” is writing “I’ll Be There For You,” which will take a look at the cultural impact of the sitcom and specific aspects of the show (such as Jennifer Aniston’s hairdo, “The Rachel”).

It’s being compared to “Seinfeldia,” which analyzed “Seinfeld” and its impact on pop culture. Along with looking at why “Friends” has endured (particularly among millennials), Miller will also look back on the show’s most memorable guest stars, such as Julia Roberts, Brad Pitt, Tom Selleck, and Reese Witherspoon, among others.
“Friends” debuted on NBC in 1994, and will celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2019. “I’ll Be There for You” will be released to coincide with this anniversary.
