Why did you start your Bookstagram?
Do you know these little 3-4 review sentences that would be on the cover or the back of a book?
I have always loved them, they would be like the first thing I read when I get a book and I always wondered who are these people who get to read the book first and have a say on it! So I started my bookstagram, 4 years ago, as a first step towards that and then I started my blog, and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made, because it just opened my eyes to this beautiful community.
Where are you from?
I’m from Cairo, Egypt.
What do you want your Instagram to bring to the world?
I want my Instagram to be able to bring to the world how books could heal wounds, how it could take you away from a harsh reality and you know, how it could just be a tender breeze in your life.
Fun fact about you?
I hate pickles!
Favorite books and authors?
Throne of Glass series by Sarah J Maas is my favorite fantasy.
All Your Perfects by Colleen Hoover is my favorite romance.

What’s your special approach to content?
Reliability and coziness.
Because these 2 are what draws me in to basically anything, so just making my content as reliable and down to earth as possible along with a bit of coziness.
Aesthetic / Instagram page theme?
Cozy, with vibrant colors.
Coziness makes everything better.
How often do you post?
I try to post 3 times a week, to be as active as I can, and give each post the attention it deserves.
What does your Bookstagram mean to you?
Honestly it’s just my safe place, where I post whatever/whenever I feel like, and and get the support I need, because we are such a big community from all over the world, and even though we’re worlds away, book brought us together, and we found that we’re not so different after all!
It’s a local bookstore in my city called Cherry Blossom Books, and it’s just the best!
Who would you have supply you with a lifetime of books?
My bestie! She always spoils me with books. Good ones.
She’s my reading buddy!
Author to take a selfie with?
It would be Mindy McGinnis, she’s like a hero for me in the book world, and I would probably faint before taking the pic.
Favorite book cover?
Wilder Girls by Rory Power
Book you have claimed to have read that you didn’t?
The Twilight saga, seriously it was so Hyped, and i just had to take a part in that, HAHA!
When did you know you had made it as a Bookstagrammer?
When people started asking me for my personal opinion about a particular book, because they thought that if I liked it, they would like it!
A Court of Thorns and Roses has the most beautiful fandoms, seriously have you seen what everyone comes up with? It’s crazy!
Advice for aspiring Bookstagrammers?
Just keep sharing your love for books even if you don’t get the feedback you are expecting, just keep doing it and it will pay off one day, trust me.
And keep your opinions about the books as honest as possible, faking the hype won’t do you good.
