Why did you start your Bookstagram?
I was always one with a book in her hands, mostly everywhere. There came a time where I stopped reading and I was busy with other stuff in life. To get back to reading, I decided to blog about it, and that’s when I found Bookstagram and it’s awesome community.
Where are you from?
I’m originally from Sudan but I was born, raised and living in Abu Dhabi.
What do you want your Instagram to bring to the world?
My Instagram is more than just about reading books, and encouraging others to do the same. It’s also a chance for me to inspire and get inspired.

When i’m not working or reading, I teach Zumba.

What’s your special approach to content?
When I’m talking about books or recommending them, I like to share some poetry I wrote.

I like to post pictures of my bookshelf, where I read, the cafes I like to hang out in. I’m also a Friends fan, so I have quite the collection of their merchandise.
How often do you post?
I love to post daily.
What does your Bookstagram mean to you?
It’s a page where I share my reading, my musings, connect with others. It’s a great community.

When did you know you had made it as a Bookstagrammer?
You kind of know when you get a lot of messages from all around, loving your page, asking for book recommendations, and all kinds of questions.
Advice for aspiring Bookstagrammers:
Have fun, read, don’t worry about numbers. And you can always say no to a book from a publisher if you are not interested. Don’t say yes just cause you’re offered one. Read what you love.
