Blue Ivy Carter, the 8-year-old daughter of music superstars Beyoncé and Jay-Z has been tapped to narrate the audiobook adaptation of Matthew A. Cherry’s Oscar-winning short film Hair Love.
The short films follow Stephen attempting to style Zuri’s, his seven-year-old daughter, hair with the help of an instructional video narrated by her mother (Issa Rae). This story was adapted into a children’s book in May 2019 with illustrations by Vashti Harrison.

Blue Ivy, despite her very young age, has had a very impressive career so far and many people are very excited to see her in this important and beautiful project.
This is the gift that just keeps on giving!! Being able to hear Blue Ivy give voice to this masterful story is so awesome. They try to bury us, not knowing we are seeds of strength and beauty. LOVE! 🖤🖤🖤🖤 #Hairlove https://t.co/ldS5I7OrQ3
