Kondo’s amazingly well-received book is now set to become a sitcom on NBC. Deadline has provided a brief premise for the series. The comedy series will be about “a young woman in a moment of crisis who attempts to get her messy life in order.” Sounds inspirational!

The show’s script will be written by Erica Oyama, known for Burning Love and The Eric Andre Show, as well as the upcoming comedy Schooled, produced by Amy Poehler.
