Best in Romance this Week!

It’s the week of love! Valentine’s Day is this Friday and what better way to celebrate than by reading some great romance novels. These five books are the perfect read for anyone in the mood for a great steamy love story to kick off Valentines Week.

  1. Love Her or Lose Her by Tessa Bailey

Love Her or Lose Her, follows married couple Rosie and Dominic Vega  used to be the perfect couple. They were high school sweethearts and the best of friends, but now ten years have passed and the spark just isn’t there. So, what better way to bring the spark back than by going to marriage boot camp. Rosie is encouraged by her friends to open her own restaurant and to want more out of her marriage, and Dominic is a great man that provides for them but it’s just not what it used to be. Rosie didn’t think Dominic would agree to this marriage boot camp, but he’s all in and during their assignments Rosie learns she also plays a part in their rocky marriage, and as they continue down this marriage boot camp journey the spark starts to ignite again, but then Rosie learns a secret about Dominic that can damage all the work they’ve done.

 

 

2. A Favor for a Favor by Helena Hunting

A Favor for a Favor, follows a man who joins the NHL expansion team, and as much as he’s excited for it everything great thing seems to come with a price. He meets his new neighbor as she tries to sneak into his captain’s apartment after midnight, and his captain just happens to be married, and he’s not married to her. Then, he gets an injury and the person to tend to him just happens to be her, and it turns out his captain isn’t having an affair with her, because that’s his sister. So, he agrees to let her nurse him back to health, and he hopes he can keep his hormones under control.

 

3. The Two Lives of Lydia Bird by Josie Silver

The Two Lives of Lydia Bird, follows Lydia as she copes with the loss of her husband of over decade, Freddie.  Lydia believed her and Freddie’s love was indestructible, but then a tragic car accident took Freddie’s life, and all Lydia can do is hide out in her apartment and cry. With the help of her best friend Jonah, and her sister, Elle, she tries to put her life back together because she knows that’s what Freddie would have wanted. Then something happens just as Lydia is about to take a step out into the world again, she’s pulled back into her past with Freddie, and she’s constantly in and out of her life with Freddie and her new life without him. As much as Freddie still owns her heart, there is someone new in her life that wants her to stay in the present.

 

 

4. You Were There Too by Colleen Oakley

You Were There Too, follows Mia Graydon, who has a great life. She has a loving husband, a nice house, and she’s about to start a family. However, Mia keeps dreaming about a man and these dreams keep happening and it’s always the same man. Then, when Mia and her husband move to Pennsylvania she finds herself face to face with the man, and it just so happens the man has been dreaming of her too. So, Mia starts to look for understands to wonder why this is happening, and she can’t help but wonder, what if?

 

5. Almost Just Friends by Jill Shalvis

Almost Just Friends, follows Piper who is about to finish renovations on the lake house her grandparents left her. She grew up raising her siblings, and now once this lake house is finished she’s free. However, a storm hits and enters dark handsome stranger, Camden Reid shows up, along with her two siblings. Piper tries to ignore them but Camden pulls her into deep emotions she doesn’t quite understand but didn’t wants it. While her siblings need each other and have secrets of their own. Then when the secrets come out everything Piper thought she knew about her family and even Cam changes. Now she must try to run from her demons or start the new life that may have already started.
