‘Avatar: the Last Airbender’ Gets a Fan Musical

Adaptations Pop Culture

Long ago, the 3 seasons lived together in harmony. Then, everything changed when the movie (which does not exist in Ba Sing Se) attacked. Luckily for die hard fans of the beloved cartoon, there is a new way for fans already done with Netflix to enjoy; a musical.

Although not an official one, Tik Tok user Katherine Lynn-Rose has gone above and beyond in making songs inspired by the show including “Welcome to Ba Sing Se,” and “Azula’s Song.” Of course, there is also a cover of the ever classic “Leaves From the Vine.”

ATLA has a huge and passionate fanbase, and with huge and passionate fanbases, come projects filled with creativity and hard work, equaling the talent of the original shows. Although Broadway is closed until 2021, if any Broadway producer wants to get a move on an official ATLA musical, I think you’ve found your composer.
