Authors for Black Voices is holding an online silent auction to raise money for racial justice non-profit organizations in publishing, literacy, and education.

Authors for Black Voices, a group created by authors Andrea Bartz and Jennifer Keishin, is holding an online silent auction to raise money for racial justice non-profit organizations in publishing, literacy, and education. Authors for Black Voices “describes itself as a collection of publishing professionals eager to do what we can to combat racism and elevate Black voices.”

Some of the items up for auction include a signed copy of Benjamin Dreyer’s English with copyediting services up to 2,000 words from Dreyer himself; a drawing of a person of your choice from Mira Jacob; a manuscript critique and consultation with Steph Cha; and a signed copy of Susan Orlean’s The Library Book with behind-the-scenes notes. The auction runs through August 31 and the winner of each auction will get to decide which vetted organization their bid goes to.
