Per usual, people have taken to social media to express their opinions about the most recent political debate. Diligent debate watchers and avid book readers combined these two things to skillfully compose tweets based on the debate. Specifically, Donald Trump. Many felt he was completely unprepared to answer questions. And thus, #TrumpBookReport was born.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the Twitter hashtag began after St. Louis, MO politician Antonio French, tweeted this:
Twitter loved it. People started responding with their suggestions as to what the Republican Presidential candidate should (or would) say if he were to be reporting on a book he hadn’t read.
