A Book About Wild Babies!

Author and photographer Traer Scott did something most human beings would not do. On her patio, she had a large potted plant. During the fall she brought the plant into her home to keep it alive for the coming winter. Unbeknownst to her, a family of mice had made that pot their home. Once inside, the mice became permanent residents of the Scott household.

Instead of breaking out the boot and doing some mouse hunting, Traer Scott did took a different route. She captured the mice and took the cutest photos you could possibly imagine. They are now included in her larger book Wild Babies which contains a variety of the cutest animals on the plant.

Many people would be mortified by the idea of having a family of mice inhabit your home suddenly, but Scott took it as a blessing. She and her husbdan cared for them, fed them, and found a rehabilitation center for the mice all within 24 hours. Luckily there was enough time for a photo shoot with these cute little rascals.
