A class of 4th graders at Royal Oak Elementary School was confused last week when teacher Joe Dombrowski gave them a particularly hard spelling test. What they didn’t know was that Dombrowski knew that they would fail the quiz, because all of the words were completely made up!
Happy April Fools Day!
Dombrowski filmed himself reading the answers aloud, and uploaded it to Facebook where it received millions of views. To the kids’ dismay, words like “tangateen,” “slipert,” and “speenuch” were filled with silent letters and umlauts. Dombrowski gave a silly example for each word to make them seem real, and we wish they were!
